Finally a happy news for samsung galaxy note users,as samsung galaxy note finally gets CM9 Ice Cream sandwich.This rom is an experimental build and based on AOSP with some tweaks.
As quoted at original XDA thread,the stuff which are working and those which are not are
WHAT’S WORKING
- WiFi should work as expected.
- 3G/GPRS/EDGE Data and Calling
- Audio
- Touchscreen as well as the S-Pen (proprietary S-Pen Apps by Samsung are not included and would’nt work anyway.
- Sensors should work. (ie. at least GPS is confirmed to work properly)
KNOWN BUGS
- Bluetooth is unstable. Don’t rely on it just yet
- Battery Usage doesn’t work.
- MTP Mode does not work. You need to push/pull files via adb
- Camera doesn’t work. Will be that way until we can get our hands on a ICS leak for the Galaxy Note
Still CM9 is under development and one can expect a stable release by mid january,but now we are seeing it being released for some of the official devices that are currently on the list of cyanogenmod.
Some Useful Stuff To Note
- Before Flashing make sure you have a backup of your device.Use titanium backup for apps.
- This rom is flashable via ODIN.
- This rom is also flashable via Clockworkmod.
- Flashing the rom may increase your binary counter and void your warranty.
