The virtual Windows 7 app OnLive Desktop has finally been released today for iPad available for download. As we reported earlier, the free version of the app lets you run Microsoft’s Office tools like Word, Excel and Powerpoint via streaming over the OnLive’s servers.
The app will be offered in two packages, free and premium with the former offering 2GB cloud storage and limited office applications. The premium package will offer 50gb of cloud storage, additional application support and priority server access.
Though you can use Office Tools from the free version of OnLive Desktop, an account is still required to get through the process. So install the app now and sign-up for a new account and since its released today, it’s much likely that the sign-up process might be a little laggy.
