Nokia unveiled its newest N9 (N series) mobile phone. The new Nokia N9 has new operating system MeeGo. Nokia originally intended for MeeGo to succeed its aging Symbian OS, but with Nokia adoptingWindows Phone 7 as its primary platform, MeeGo was relegated to “experimental” status. That experiment could yet prove to be a viable backup plan judging from early impressions of the new smartphone.
